Once a trigger or multiple triggers are assigned to the external scanner, those triggers are removed from the internal scanner. The user needs to select the triggers for the external scanner as required. If an external scanner and an internal scanner is selected (regardless of the order added), the internal scanner is given all the triggers by default. Tap on Configure Triggers to display a list of triggers to configure the options vary depending on the device in use. ![]() Long pressing on the scanner category in the Scanner Selection screen displays a menu with options to Configure triggers or Delete. If Scanner selection is set to Auto, all scanners are removed from the list. ![]() The selected scanner is then added to the Scanner Selection list. A list of available scanners is displayed. In Barcode Input, the Scanner selection panel determines which scanning device to use for data capture. The parameters of this feature can be configured using the Set Config API. The raw barcode data that's acquired is processed or formatted as using the Basic and Advanced Data Formatting Processing options that are found near the Output options. DataWedge supports lasers, imagers and internal cameras. USB synchronous serial interface (SSI) scannersīarcode Scanner Input reads data from the integrated barcode scanner built into the device, or attached via cable or Bluetooth connection, or implemented as a snap-on module.See the Scanner Parameters section for more information.
